Student leaders attend Club Mega General Assembly
Student leaders from schools in Cebu City and other local government units of Metro Cebu attended the general assembly of Club Mega last June 16, 2018 held at the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. – Eduardo Aboitiz Development and Studies Center (RAFI-EADSC).
The youth has once again stood their ground as some 104 young student leaders from the different schools and local government units (LGUs) of Metro Cebu attended the Club Mega General Assembly last June 16, 2018 at the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. – Eduardo Aboitiz Development and Studies Center (RAFI-EADSC).
Club Mega, headed by its Executive Chairman Divine Grace Cañon, organized the assembly with the goal of gathering and encouraging the youth to be more proactive and participative in community development. After all, Club Mega is a youth organization which promotes awareness and support to the Mega Cebu vision.
The assembly was graced by Gordon Alan P. Joseph, the Executive Committee Chairman of the Metro Cebu Development and Coordinating Board Research, Program, and Organizational Development (MCDCB RPOD). Attending as the guest speaker, Mr. Joseph encouraged the student leaders to waste no time in mobilizing the youth so as to be the loudest voice in speaking up to the government leaders.
“The best thing that you can do, which you can do together, is to speak as one voice for a better Cebu. It’s time to let our leaders know that there are young people out there, voters, who want something better than what we have today,” says Mr. Joseph.
The general assembly shows the continuous effort of Club Mega in molding student leaders to support Mega Cebu and to build a better Cebu.
